Robot Programmers
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and Implementing Fanuc Robot Program system: The primary responsibility is to develop, test, and implement programs for robotic systems in Industrial Environment.
• Problem Identification and resolution: Ability to troubleshoot and debug robotic systems to identify and resolve issues with Machine System.
• Experience: with Spot welding, MIG Welding dispense/sealing, and Material handling applications.
• Quality check: Perform Quality inspection prior to Machine Shipments as required.
• Testing and Validation: Robotics Programmers are responsible for testing robot programs in simulation environments as well as real-world scenarios to ensure they meet performance requirements and safety standards.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: To clearly communicate mechanical, Electrical or Process Issue discovered while programming.
• Documentation and Reporting: Generate documentation to support quality compliance programs.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: Keeping up-to-date with advancements in robotics technology and programming techniques is essential for staying competitive in the field. Robotics Programmers should be proactive in seeking out learning opportunities and experimenting with new approaches.
• Adhering to Safety Standards: All related safe work practices and Customer safety requirement.
Experience Requirements:
• 3+ Years of Industry experience preferred:
• General Motors GRS (Global Robotics Specification) Certification an asset.
• Experience with Major Automotive Manufacturer (Chrysler, Ford, Magna, etc.)
• Experience with robot brans such as ABB Yaskawa/ Motoman, Nachi, and Kuka an Asset.
• Knowledge of DCS, Interference Zones
Education Requirements:
• A Diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant field is required (Automation/ Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)
• Relevant experience will consider an asset.
